Hi, I’m Jill Shepherd; I have been involved with horses for over twenty years, seven of which I have been involved with saddles and their design. When my daughter, Maggie, was born three years ago I was adamant that she wouldn’t have a pony until she was old enough to understand the concept of riding. This idea remained true right up until her wonderful godmother, Sarah, gave us a pony called Dinky.
With a restless pony and an even more restless daughter I was hounded into action and came up with the design for my first child friendly saddle, the Inky Dinky.
The Inky Dinky is totally unique; its treeless design ensures a good fit whatever the size and shape of your pony whilst the seat is made from luxurious Memory Foam to provide ultimate comfort for tiny bottoms. As your child grows the saddle grows with them. Adjusting and sculpting the Memory Foam pommel and cantle will always maintain a cosy snug fit.
